Decorating your House this Christmas

Hello everyone and welcome back to Styling with Jade, Christmas is just around the corner which means it’s time to start decorating your house for the festive season. In some parts of the world it’s cold and snowing while in other parts of the world it’s hot and summery, but we all share some common Christmas decoratives. So today I’m going to take you through some of my favourite decorations to make your house feel festive with a touch of Christmas spirit.

The most obvious thing we all put in our houses for this holiday is a Christmas Tree, there are 2 options a real tree or a fake one. Here in Australia we generally opt for the fake one, less maintenance and you don’t have to buy a new one every year. Putting the Christmas tree up is one of my favourite things to do and it allows your family to come together and have some fun. What you decorate your tree with is entirely up to you but I have left some photos below of some inspiration both traditional and alternative.

I have to talk about this one because it’s one of my favourites and that is candles. If you live in Europe or America or any other country that celebrates Christmas in the winter than these are perfect for you. Candles give warmth to a room, they look great and if you buy the scented ones they create a beautiful aroma throughout your house. Down below I’m going to leave the link to some of my favourite places to buy candles aswell as others I have heard good things about. I definitely reccomend checking them out and if you do please leave me a comment below.

Now there’s a billion other things you can decorate your house with this Christmas I’m just going to list a few and put together a big collage full of inspiration for you to decorate your house with. Otherwise it will take you till Christmas to read this post.
